Styling like the Chevy Volt, performance like the Chevy Volt, and efficiency like the Chevy Volt. So what's different? This is a crossover that seats five.
The GT1 was produced in coupe, convertible, and Z06 models throughout the 2009 model year with little performance changes, but many graphic changes. A few of the details were fancier seats, GT1 logos everywhere, and a special engine cover.

The 2002 Z06 was capable of making 405 HP and going 0-60 in 3.9 seconds. How fast is that? Not as fast as the ZR1, but it was also lighter and cheaper, and it still is today.
The base Z06 is already a great car, but the Carbon version takes it and multiplies it by two, adds 3, and then multiplies it by five. In other words, it's like a ZR1 but actually a Z06 with cool fenders, brakes, and that sick looking number on the side.
And the last post in my random Suburban history is a more recent model, one that lets just say is more.....everyday? No, that wasn't the right word....
Back when automakers kept the same model for sale for so many years with only minor changes until it dried out and they filled for bankruptcy. Oh wait, we still have Chrysler.
What is that kid doing? Why is he in the middle of nowhere? Is he old enough to drive? Is red his favorite color? So many questions, none even about the car, so I'll just stop there.
Now that's what I'm talking about. Finally, somebody takes one of these nice trucks and "decks" them out. I don't know what that actually means, but it sounded cool.
What a long name, but I can't believe it's been 75 years. The Suburban is one of those cars that can easily blend into the background, but it really is a nice, over-sized SUV when you actually stop to look at it. 75 years is a long time.
We all saw it coming, but the new Silverado can finally kick Ford onto the ground, that is if Ford's new Super Duty isn't better. The new Silverado will offer from 16,000 to 20,000 pounds in towing capacity on the 3500 model, thanks to a new Duramax. There will also be less emissions and better fuel milage. If that's not enough, there will also be a stiffer frame, and new rear springs. On looks, well....there are new rims and a new front bumper...but who cares how much styling has changed when there's a whole new engine!
The monster-of-an-SUV-Tahoe is great for hauling boats, picking up kids from soccer, swerving around cars on the highway, and occasionally making people look cooler than they actually are. What a great car.
