GMC Week: The 00's

And finally we arrive at our time period. I would also put the 2010 years, but GMC turned 100 in 2009. And that ends GMC week! Looks look forward to another 100 years! Well, I don't think any of us will live that long, but well...lets just end it there.

GMC Week: The 90's

I stand corrected, NOW GMC and Chevrolet are a little different.

GMC Week: The 80's

We are all the way in the 80's now. Now GMC and Chevy are actually a little bit different, but still not that much.

GMC Week: The 70's

If I had to take a guess, I'd say not too many hippies bought GMC trucks. But I guess you never know.....

GMC Week: The 60's

Yes, we're getting more current now to cars we can actually remember and may see driving down the road. Well, maybe not the 60's, but sure the 70's.

GMC Week: The 50's

There's only one thing I can say right now: BIG RIG. And that is one big red GMC.

GMC Week: The 40's

During the 40's, we have heavy-duty trucks, pick-up trucks, and even SUVs in the GMC lineup.

GMC Week: The 30's

This year marked the start of the light-duty trucks for GMC. But don't worry, there are still big trucks too.

GMC Week: The 20's

The 20's get a little more interesting because there are some actual pictures of GMC trucks from that time. But still, very few. Today I have a picture of a die cast replica of a 1920 truck, and one that I'll guess has seen some better days.

GMC Week: The 10's

Yeah, there aren't many pictures of GMC's from 1909. Maybe because there weren't cameras? Well, here's a poster of a 1919 GMC truck. And that's as much of a description I can give you.

IT's GMC Week

That's right. It's hard to believe that GM's GMC actually just celebrated it's 100th birthday. That's a hundred years of awesome trucks. So for the rest of the week, we're going to post GMC trucks from all years.

Starting with 1909

2010 Mercedes-Benz E Class Wagon

I don't care if it's a Mercedes, nobody buys station wagons! and certainly not $50,000 dollar ones.

2010 Honda Accord Crosstour

Nope, it's not just the pictures. This car is ugly.

2010 Chevrolet Agile

Crazy stuff's going on here. Okay, maybe not

2010 Mitsubishi Galant

The front side kind of likes like a Cadillac STS, but a lot cheaper.

2011 Chevrolet Caprice Police Car

It's a glorious day when something like this happens. In this case it's the 2011 Chevy Caprice cop-only car. It feels like every time Chevy releases a cop car, it's kick-ass. Too bad they don't come too often. At least their still changed more often than Ford Crown Victorias.

Even a Toyota would be better than those Victorias.

2010 Audi A3

It's official, all Audi's look the same, and have. I don't know about the interior though, that usually changes quite often in cars.

2006 HUMMER H1

You know, it would really help if every HUMMER H1 ever made didn't look the same. It's hard to tell the difference between one from 1992 and one from 2007. But I know for a fact that this one is from 2006. Do you think you could have ever guessed that?

2010 Hyundai Equus Stretch

Hyundai makes me sick, but in a good way. They somehow manage to make really cheap cars, and really fancy, expensive ones too.

Holden SS-V Series

Why didn't Pontiac ever make a sport wagon like that? No wonder they're getting killed by the General. Although the Ute makes complete sense. I don't think Americans would take the whole El-Camino idea again.
