1970 Pontiac Catalina

The 290hp Catalina was another Pontiac that lasted all the way into the eighties, when most cars were trashed into compacts and all looked the same. Luckily we're now out of those days.

2003 Pontiac Bonneville

The Bonneville lasted through nine generations until getting the boot more recently. Why? Because apparently something called "global warming" or "we're running out of fuel" happened.

1985 Pontiac Grand Prix

The Buick-engined Grand Prix of the eighties lead on to the Prix being made for a very long time, only to be replaced by the G8 in 2008. Although I could argue that the older ones were cooler.

1978 Pontiac Grand LeMans

Wonder how much this car's worth? I have no clue, but who really cares, it's got a V8. Yeah, that sounds a lot better with a "Hemi".

1961 Pontiac Ventura

I've given myself a mission during Pontiac Week. That mission is to post at least one picture of every Pontiac model made. Not every re-design, but one of every car. Anyways, here's the Ventura compact. Not the most popular car made, but any Pontiac is a great car.

1973 Pontiac Astre

According to Wikipedia, the Astre only cost $180 more than the Chevy Vega, which is what it was based off. I'd certainly pay that kind of cash to get a Pontiac upgrade nowadays.

1964 Pontiac Tempest LeMans GTO

The Tempest is what started the famed GTO, so I guess you could call it a GTO. Well, actually it IS a GTO. Oh, whatever...

Pontiac Week

We've had GMC Week, but it means more to give a week to what may be the greatest American car brand ever, which is fading away thanks to GM. Pontiac has been with us for many years, and it's now time to say goodbye to an American legend. I know this sounds stupid, but aren't we ll sad to see Pontiac go? Except for Prius fans....but don't take that as an insult.

What's next? Saturn, Saab.....

1968 Lincoln Continental Mark III

Today's Car of the Day is a Lincoln from what I would call "the better days," back when Lincon made some great performance cars. Today we've got the outdated Town Car.

2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee

I'm American, so I tend to like American cars. What's more American than a Jeep? Actually, a Dodge may be..but whatever, I just said American four times in one post.

2010 Chevrolet Tahoe

The monster-of-an-SUV-Tahoe is great for hauling boats, picking up kids from soccer, swerving around cars on the highway, and occasionally making people look cooler than they actually are. What a great car.

2009 BMW M6

Any car with an M in front of it is awesome. The M6 is no exception, neither is another other BMW. Well, except for the ones with the duct tape on them.....

2008 Honda Fit

Honda recalled a few of these earlier today. By a few, I mean over 600,000. Nowhere near Toyota's amount.

2010 Mazda 3

Today's Car of the Day is the 2010 Mazda 3. That's 3, not 2, or 1, 3.

2010 Audi S4

Today's Car of the Day is the Audi S4 from this past year. Next year should bring an even better one.

2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS

The 426 HP Camaro SS is still on top, but Ford's getting closer with their Mustang GT. Now if only Dodge would rise farther up in the Pony Wars.

Monster Ford Fiesta Rally Car

Ken Block's not with Subaru anymore, he's going to party in his new Monster Racing Ford Fiesta, shown in these tow images above. Who would have known?

Saab: Born From Jets, Saved By Dutch

The Saab Saga continues, only now with another new twist. Spyker Cars has agreed to pay GM $74 million for the Swedish car company, along with a $566 million loan. So Saab may not be killed after all.

2009 BMW M5

Today's Car of the Day is another BMW. That's just because the M5's 500 HP V8 is just too hard to resist.

2007 Porsche 911 GT3 RS

So many numbers, so many meanings. Although a lot of numbers and letters in the name makes the car seem more important and more powerful.

2009 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1

620 HP and zero to sixty in way to quick of a time, the ZR1 is the best of the best.

2009 Pontiac G8 GXP

Today's Car of the Day isn't old at all, but I'll consider it an American classic. Yeah!

1993 McLaren F1

This car used to make me think "crazy fast", but then they made the Bugatti Veyron. It's still fast.

2007 Lamborghini LP640 Roadster

I swear, this car reminds me more of a plane than an actual car.

2006 Koenigsegg CCX

I prefer to call this "the car with the name I can't pronounce", but this is today's Car of the Day.

Road Car's Ten Best Car Video Games

We all love cars, so it only makes sense that we all love car video games too. So here are Road Car's ten modern-day car video games that you can buy right now. Take a good look.

10. Midnight Club 3: Dub Edition Remix

The third installment to the Midnight Club series brought over a hundred cars, including tuners, muscles, exotics, SUVs, and trucks – you can pretty much race anything you want. There are a few towns – Atlanta, Detroit, San Diego, and Tokyo, all created nicely. The races are hard, but it gets easier the farther you get into it.

9. Need for Speed Carbon
Carbon introduced a new feature where you could have your own “team” and tell them to do stuff for you when in a race. They can block, draft, or take out someone when you ask. Carbon also had some different events like Canyon Races, where you try not to drive off the cliff. All this and more inside a large free roam city.

8. Gran Turismo 3
The amazing Gran Turismo series got a whole lot better with Gran Turismo 3. There are over a hundred cars, around 15 tracks, and the game is very realistic. It’s hard, but the perfect simulator.

7. Need for Speed: Shift
Although you won’t be cruising through an open city being smashed by cops, Shift is a great game in its own way. The driving is so life-like, and the graphics are amazing. Each car and track was created so realistic looking, and there is a good choice of them too. I just still miss the cop games.

6. Need for Speed Most Wanted
Cops, cops, cops, are most of the reason Most Wanted is so great. Don’t expect to go anywhere without 10 police cruisers chasing you, helicopters bombing you, road blocks hitting you, and SUVs smashing into the side of your ride – all while you’re trying to race a Lamborghini across the finish line. You’re never safe here.

5. Burnout Paradise
Crash, smash, and thrash through a huge city winning races, takedowns, and just cruising around. Not the biggest selection of cars, and they aren’t real, but Paradise takes the old skull-crushing charm of the old Burnout’s and globs it together with some Midnight Club and gives you an awesome game.

4. Test Drive Unlimited
Thousands of miles of island are waiting for you to drive – so take advantage of everything. Test Drive Unlimited has a little bit of everything, or I should say a lot of everything. There are cars to buy, houses to buy, clothes to buy, and hundreds of events to win. This game is so unique and so great at the same time. From Mustangs to McLarens, everyone can love this game.

3. Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2
Hot Pursuit 2 may be an older game, but it’s far from out-dated. It may not be full HD or have hundreds of cars, but there’s still a good amount to choice from, and a lot to unlock. The cops in this game are most of the challenge when racing, so even with a slow car you have a chance. Helicopters, road blocks, cruisers, and spikes will come at you very fast, so you should always watch out – even if they are on your map.

2. Gran Turismo 4
Hundreds of cars, beautiful tracks, and everything else that makes every Gran Turismo game so great. It’s as realistic as driving a real car, and just as hard. I can’t wait for Gran Turismo 5.

1. Midnight Club: Los Angeles
240mph through a stunning re-created L.A. is only partially why this game is so great. The city of L.A. is created so amazingly real it almost hurts your eyes. Everything important is there from Santa Monica to Downtown, all with amazing detail. There isn’t a ton of cars, but the selection is very good: Exotic cars, tuners, muscles, and low riders, SUVs, and police cars in the complete edition. The game itself is quite hard, with a variety of events, opponents, and tournaments to be beaten. Each car handles in its own way, and there is a ton of traffic in this game. Overall, this game is perfect for any hard-core racer who needs a little challenge sometimes.

1975 Chevrolet Camaro

No, this is not from Transformers, but the '75 Camaro is today's Car of the Day. Check back for tomorrow's!

2006 Ford Mustang Saleen S281

Today's Car of the Day is the scenic roof version of the Mustang Saleen from 2006. Check it out and be sure to be back for tomorrow's car.

2011 Mini Countryman

Higher up, and AWD, the Countryman will be the for-door score. I'm having a bad rhyming day.

2010 Dodge Viper SRT10

Today's car of the day is much faster than yesterday's, and a bit less luxurious. Check out the Viper!

2009 Land Rover Range Rover Sport

Today's Car of the Day can really be called a truck, but who really cares. Check out the Rover.

2011 BMW 3-Series Convertible

Just like the coupe, the convertible offers pretty much the same BMW experience.

2011 BMW 3-Series Coupe

I'm just waiting for the M in front of the 3.

2011 Ford Mustang Daytona 500 Pace Car

How many years has it been since a Ford was the pace car for the 500? I don't know the exact number, but it was years ago. I guess this is something new.

2011 Shelby GT350

And 45 years later, there's another GT350, and bulkier than ever!

2011 Cadillac XTS Concept

Don't worry, your eyes will only sting a little of checking to see how fast you're driving. Just kidding, but at least there are buttons.

2011 Lincoln MKX

Looks like a MKT on the outside, has it's own image on the inside. Apparently Ford doesn't like buttons, but what if your screen cracks?
