What can you get for 80 grand? Two Stadium Events Nintendo games, or a Jaguar XFR. I'd much rather have the XFR. This sedan not only looks and drives great, but it packs a 5.0 liter V8 that can race down any other sedans on the road.
I still don't get the whole "compact luxury hybrid" thing, but the CT 200h looks like it's going to be a pretty good car. You'll just have to wait until the full details arrive.
Last weekend I was reading an old Winter Olympics magazine from the 1980's, and I Ford F-150 ad caught my attention. It mentioned the truck's great gas mileage and aerodynamic design. Yeah right. Still, this truck is back when cars were much simpler. No fancy garbage.
Today's Car of the Day is one of the sickest cars ever to come out of the Lamborghini factory. That's hard to say, because every car that does is great. I can't even remember a single dud made by Lambo.
The 571HP SLS AMG will lead the F1 packs this season. It is said to be the most powerful F1 safety car ever, and possibly the nicest looking. Okay, that last one is just from me. This ain't no NASCAR here.
As you may know already, the "famed" HUMMER brand may be closing after the deal to sell it fell through. I say may because just like with Saab, anything can happen. The H3x is a great example of how HUMMER evolved over the years.
First, it was maybe the greatest off-road street car ever made. Then it slowly turned into a luxury vehicle. How many people who currently own a HUMMER do you think actually bring the thing off-road?
Speaking of Porsche Cayenne, here's the car it shares it's platform with. The Tiguan concept may look worse than the actually outcome, be it's still our Car of the Day.
The 2011 model certainly looks better than the more-than-ugly original Cayenne, but how well does it perform? Power ranges from 300HP all the way to 500HP. It's also faster, cooler, and has a hybrid option. Did I mention it looks a whole lot better?
The 450HP RS5 with a 4.2 liter V8 is crazy good, while saving the environment. Actually, not really, because no car is good for the environment...but it's still crazy good. And I mean it.
Like every super car, the Zonda R is large, fast, and looks like it wants to eat you. And it has 750HP. And it costs more than your house.....and your mother's house combined.
It may be just the pictures, but this car looks sick. Not 504HP sick, but like...that car looks cool. It performs cool too, because it's electric. Who knows when it may come out.
We've seen the Polo GTI, but now comes the CrossPolo, which is kind of like a GTI with 2 more doors, and cool fenders. Well, not really...I can dream right?
It looks like a GTI, but has a 1.4 liter twin charged engine with 178 HP. It can also go 0-60 in 6.9 seconds and has a top speed of 142mph. One more thing....not for the US.
You never know what you may find for the Car of the Day. Today's is one of the nicer Volvo's, but that's just in my opinion. Because whenever I think "Volvo", I think wagon.
And the last post in my random Suburban history is a more recent model, one that lets just say is more.....everyday? No, that wasn't the right word....
Back when automakers kept the same model for sale for so many years with only minor changes until it dried out and they filled for bankruptcy. Oh wait, we still have Chrysler.
What is that kid doing? Why is he in the middle of nowhere? Is he old enough to drive? Is red his favorite color? So many questions, none even about the car, so I'll just stop there.
Now that's what I'm talking about. Finally, somebody takes one of these nice trucks and "decks" them out. I don't know what that actually means, but it sounded cool.
What a long name, but I can't believe it's been 75 years. The Suburban is one of those cars that can easily blend into the background, but it really is a nice, over-sized SUV when you actually stop to look at it. 75 years is a long time.
